We started out around October 2025, booking out rehearsal rooms and practicing together for a few solid weeks before our first gig. The chemistry between us as a band was existent from the first practice that we had together. The rhythm section of AJ (drums) and Toby (bass) spurred on the creation of heavy and driven riffs played by Ed (guitar/vocals) and Kaj (lead guitar) and after only a couple of practice sessions we had amassed a rough collection of songs that we would take with us into our formative gigs around the town of Falmouth. As a band we have an eclectic sphere of musical influences, consisting of post punk, Alt rock, Indie rock, shoegaze as well as hints of electronic and folk music too. Some key artists who have inspired our sound so far include: Slint, Joyce Manor, Joy Division and DIIV. Over 2025 and the first months of 2026 we have been busy playing gigs across Falmouth's thriving scene, gracing notable venues such as The Cornish Bank, Fish Factory and the Killigrew Inn. Coming up at the end of May we are playing at the Great Estate Festival on CLUNK magazine’s wildwood stage, supporting some incredible bands local to Falmouth and the South-West of England. From September 2026 Dialler will be based in London, looking to expand both our sound and following in this new, exciting challenge. Further to this we also have a self-titled EP on the way, made up of the most important songs to us in our journey as a band so far. We hope to release this on all applicable streaming services in the autumn of this year.
